A LITTLE ABOUT US

RCM Shipwrights (formerly Red Car Marine) began in 2007.  Our Director and Manager, James Watson, is a shipwright of 30+ years with a wealth of knowledge and experience in boat repairs and boat building, learning his trade in Ray Kemp's boatyard at Woodbridge and Muirs Boatyard at Battery Point and later working at various times as skipper, deckhand and maintenance manager on vessels up to 24 metres in the Whitsundays.

 

Along with our team of tradesmen and assistants we’re committed to providing a superior service to our clients and offer quality workmanship, open communication and practical outcomes.

James is a qualified shipwright working on site, who prides himself on quality workmanship.  All our team are committed to this philosophy, along with  open communication and punctuality in whatever we do.
